这个6周的英语教师培训项目在加拿大西安大略省的南希—坎贝尔学院进行,主要是针对中国专业中学英语教师而设计。目的在于帮助中学的英语教师提高英语口语交流能力,提高英语教学的表现技能。同时,学习实用的英语教学的科学方法,亲身经历真正的英语语言教学环境,教学手法,学习优秀教师的7种素质,教学方案的设计和创建等,提高英语教师的专业素质。我们在教学的安排上重点放在提高教师讲英语的能力、教英语的能力、了解加拿大的教育体系(如:升学程序,大学的教育体系,教学特色等)、了解北美的文化(如:尽量多的安排让教师有机会与加拿大当地人的接触)。

| 第1天至第3天 加东三日游 |
渥太华和蒙特利尔游览3天: 1,加国首都渥太华,游览雕刻艺术登峰之国会山庄,风光秀丽之渥太华河,庄严矗立的阵亡将士纪念碑,气派雄伟的和平钟楼,雅典别致的名人使馆村及总理府、皇家造币厂,选购各款精装绝版纪念币,诚为最佳手信。其后,参观超凡入胜的加国历史博物馆,体验加国文化,人民历史。黄昏时份,抵达满地可市参观唐人街,享受满地可市夜生活,圣嘉芙莲大道,法式酒吧。 2,游览满地可市,参观具有法国巴黎圣母院特式,北美最历史悠久的「诺特丹圣母院」。随后前往全北美最大教堂之圣约瑟大教堂,此教堂之创办人为安德教士,当时享誉盛名,无人不知。接着前往奥林匹克世运村(一九七六年奥运会举办场地),自然生态博物馆可以看到生活于热带,如猪般大的巨型海鼠、掌上可舞的金丝猴、颜色鲜艳夺目毒青蛙、还有蝙蝠、吃人鱼,寒带企鹅、汇集全世界珍禽异卉,人生难得一见。午膳后,随即到达魁北克省省府魁北克市,此为北美唯一有古城墙的城市,亦为法国人另一聚居之处,也是当年英法殖民大战之战场。城内充满着浓郁的欧陆色彩,尤以古城更甚,古炮、马拉车、古城墙、广场铜像、艺术画廊、英法战争纪念公园...等等,构成一幅幅美丽的图画,法式餐厅内享用法国大餐,都能让你充份享受有迷你小巴黎之称的魁北克浪漫情. 3,参观安河千岛旅游区,感受加拿大三大自然奇景之千岛风情,乘船畅游圣罗兰斯河,欣赏这世界著名之群岛的特有风采,心型岛亿万富豪古堡,世界最短国际桥,外母岛...等等。接着到加国古都 -- 京士顿,参观市政府大会堂,十八世纪英式灯塔,最古老横贯东西岸火车头,加拿大唯一皇家军事学院,加国名列前芧之皇后大学,加拿大第一任总理故居等等。约于黄昏后返抵多伦多. |
| 第4天 | 早上离开多伦多去温哥华。(空中飞行时间约5小时,另外有3个小时的时差。)接机并安排住进当地人家庭或宾馆。视抵达温哥华的时间可安排参观北美最大市内公园-史丹利公园,华埠唐人街,市中心,1986世界博览会会址、及三文鱼试食。(或者安排参观大学,或者自由活动)。 |
| 第5,6,7,8天 | 游览温哥华岛,维多利亚: (Vancouver Island & Victoria) 乘坐卑斯省渡轮经乔治亚海峡到温哥华岛,抵步后游览宝翠花园,继而往卑斯省首府–维多利亚市,参观唐人街及同济门。午后前往游览毕架山公园,零哩牌,卑斯省议会大楼等。返回温哥华。 |
| 第9天 | 视返程时间安排游览和购物在温哥华。乘机回国。. |
居住学校的学生宿舍,距离学校走路10分钟路程,或住当地人家庭, 两种选择。
所有教师将吃住在加拿大当地人家里,与加拿大人的家庭共同生活在一起。
住宿家庭负责提供我们早餐,午餐,晚餐和宵夜。提供我们每人单人房间或双人房间和相应的床上用品。负责提供洗衣设施,免费市内电话,和上学放学和各项活动的车接送到指定地点。打长途电话,需要自己买电话卡。
更重要的事,这种与住宿家庭的共同生活, 建立起紧密地学生与加拿大家庭的友好关系。感到住宿家庭的安全,亲切,有更多的机会学习和应用英语,经历真正的加拿大人的生活和文化,这是这个项目的不可估量的重要组成部分。
课程时间安排和教学内容可以根据中国方面的要求作适当调整。
游览的活动可能根据天气情况和其它原因有所调整、变化。
